At LMO Foundation, our interest is to catch the muslim girl child young by providing supportive education, career development, mentoring and activities to grow their character in a way that will allow them to attain their educational potential
To be the foremost organisation in promoting the status and dignity of the Muslim girl child.
✓ To promote and advocate for the comprehensive support of the welfare and education of the Muslim girl child;
✓ To campaign for the elimination of all restrictions, obstacles or practices which inhibit the welfare and education of the Muslim girl child;
✓ To assist the Nigerian Muslim girl child to achieve her full potential through education and welfare support;
✓ To offer grant, scholarship, stipends, prizes, and other financial assistance or help in kind, in support of education and welfare of the Muslim girl child.
To date, we have impacted:
● 164 JSS 3 students graduating to SSS 1 through the transition tutorial classes programmes;
● 164 UTME students through the UTME tutorial classes. It is worthy of note that many of them have gained admission into their preferred tertiary institutions;
● 222 participants have benefitted from our mentoring programmes (children and parents inclusive); and
● 421 participants have benefitted from our advocacy programmes (children and parents inclusive).
● 8 students by rendering financial assistance/grant for purchase of O’ Level examinations forms (WAEC and GCE).
These unavoidable exposures to foul language, ill-character, drug peddling, sexual immorality, social media ills have the potential to derail educational advancement of the girls and inhibit the development of their talents. Cultural and religious bias
