Hon. Justice Okunnu, a Trustee of the LMO Foundation, is a judge of the High Court of Lagos State. She obtained her law degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, in the year 1986.
She is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn and was called to the English Bar in July 1987. She attended the Nigerian Law School between the period 1987 and 1988 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 1988.
Justice Okunnu worked as a pupil lawyer in the law firm of G.O.K. Ajayi & Co., and after her pupillage, joined the law firm of Femi Okunnu & Co. where she worked for many years eventually becoming the Head of Chambers before her elevation to the Bench in the year 2001.
She has participated in many social causes and is a member of a number of professional, Islamic and non-governmental organisations.
