Mrs. Monsurat, a trustee of LMO Foundation is professionally, a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI, CITN), 1995; a fellow Chartered Accountant, FCA in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), 1994 as well as a Registered Teacher with the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria, 2017.
She has worked as Internal Auditor & Member of the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace (KAICID Sponsored); School Proprietor, The Tenets Schools, Lagos; Partner, Client Services, Alli-Oluwafuyi, Ibisomi, Onibon & Co; Bursar, Senior Lecturer, Accountancy Department, Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo and many more. She has assumed some leadership roles among them which include:
Member, Board of Trustees, Hijab Rights Advocacy Initiative; Our Sisters’ Happiness Islamic Welfare Foundation; First National and District President, The Criterion (an Association of Muslim Women in Business and Professions) as well as a Funding Member, Executive Management Committee, The Muslim Welfare Fund.
She enjoys reading Islamic literature, teaching and travelling.
